“Take Back Kirkland” includes restoring balance, moderation, and common sense to City Hall. It’s about putting residents and neighborhoods first, making sure decisions reflect the voices of the community rather than being dictated from the top down. Ken believes growth, budgets, and city services must be managed with respect for residents, support for local businesses, and protection of our treasured neighborhoods. Disagreements will always exist, but the goal is a City Council that listens openly, considers all perspectives, and ensures every resident feels their input truly matters. In short, Take Back Kirkland is about returning city government to its core purpose: serving and supporting the people who call Kirkland home.
